Eagle Eyes Mirada

A desktop and web app for Windows and Mac, and the successor to Eagle Eyes Scan.

Mirada organizes all of your drone data into a platform you can search by place and time, shows where all of it was collected on the map, and connects your drone to your team's CalTopo operation. It runs the Eagle Eyes detector on your footage, in real time and during post-flight review, to help operators and visual observers notice things they might otherwise miss.

Mirada is also built for multi-drone coordination and airspace deconfliction, showing the live location of every drone and giving air ops overall airspace situational awareness on complex incidents.

Load and view your drone data

  • Connect an SD card or import images, video and 360° captures. Mirada reads the metadata, organizes your media chronologically, and places it on the map
  • Reads flight metadata from DJI, Autel, Skydio, Wingtra and Parrot drones
  • See each image draped in place on the map with its camera field of view, and move through footage on a time bar in sync with the map, in 2D or 3D
  • Search and organize your media, read the full metadata, and export individual images

Find what you might otherwise miss

  • The Eagle Eyes computer vision detector flags colour and motion anomalies on both visual and thermal imagery, in real time during the flight and on review afterwards
  • The Mosaic view lays every detection out as thumbnails you can sort by confidence, time or colour
  • Bookmark a find with a single keystroke
  • Run the detector on orthomosaics, not just video and photos

Put it on the map

  • Connect your drone operations to your team's CalTopo map, syncing in both directions: push detections, bookmarks and drone tracks out to the team map, and pull CalTopo features back into Mirada, including search areas, photo points and live locations
  • Connect once to your team's CalTopo account and Mirada stays linked, so nobody is signing in again on every callout
  • TAK and ESRI integrations are coming soon
  • Bring in your own map layers: WMS and other web layers, spatial files, GeoTIFFs and PDFs, overlaid on the map
  • Produce clean, georeferenced PDF map outputs branded for your organization

Air ops: multi-drone coordination and airspace deconfliction

  • Track the live location of multiple drones as they fly, against your CalTopo search areas, on both the 2D and 3D map
  • See each drone's real-time position, altitude and battery level
  • Jump between drone live streams instantly
  • Coordinate the operation: assign drones to search areas and keep track of where everyone is flying
  • See your ground personnel through CalTopo's shared locations
  • See airspace and live NOTAMs
  • See nearby manned aircraft via ADS-B, from DJI's AirSense
  • Connect a Remote ID receiver to see drones broadcasting RID nearby, whether or not they're running Eagle Eyes Pilot (alpha: 2.4 GHz only, so Skydio's 5.8 GHz broadcasts aren't picked up)

Share what the drone sees

  • Share a live stream by link or QR code. No account required to watch
  • Scrub back in time while a stream is still live, and on desktop record streams and run the detector on them as they come in
  • Local streaming is free when the controller and Mirada are on the same network. Remote viewing is pay-as-you-go

Works offline

  • Mirada keeps working with no internet connection, which is how most of a search actually goes

Mirada replaces Eagle Eyes Scan and does everything Scan did. Scan is still available to download, but it's no longer maintained, and new teams should start with Mirada. Read what's new in the Mirada release notes.
